Pregnancy & Homebirth
CPM 2000 Study – Outcomes of planned home births with certified professional midwives: large prospective study in North America, Kenneth C Johnson, Betty-Anne Daviss, BMJ 2005:1416, doi:10.1136/bmj.330.7505.1416
Birth takes preparation, thus your nine months of pregnancy. With a midwife at your side throughout your pregnancy, you create your optimum pregnancy and birth experience.
You are responsible for your pregnancy and your birth. You will provide the best nutrition for your body – your midwife will help you with that. Most important, you will listen to the wisdom of your body – it knows best.
Creating your optimum pregnancy and birth requires you to invest in yourself. If you have not taken a childbirth education class, I highly recommend HypnoBirthing® classes. I’ve seen the benefits of hypnosis for pregnancy and birth firsthand with women and their babies and I became a Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner. Stephanie Kraft is a HypnoBirthing Practitioner who created a video for you to learn more about HypnoBirthing.
If you have any concerns at all, a session with Lindsey Vick or Stephanie Kraft, local HypnoBirthing Practitioners and phenomenal hypnotherapists, is beneficial. Get rid of any baggage that you don’t need for this birth. Check out this affirmations video.
What else can you do? See a chiropractor regularly (I LOVE Dr. Erica). Do your pelvic rocks and other exercises to encourage your baby to be in baby’s optimal position. Drink lots of water. Eat well – quality protein.
